2014 NDAREC Annual Meeting
71st Annual Meeting
Jan. 7, 8 & 9, 2014
Ramkota Hotel, Bismarck, N.D.

We Shine as One

NDAREC’s annual meeting this year reminds its members of all that can be accomplished by working together. As one, the state’s 16 electric distribution cooperatives and 5 generation and transmission cooperatives provide affordable, dependable and safe electric power to more than a third of the state’s citizens and sell more than 50% of the electric power in the state. Through NDAREC, our members have joined and worked together to achieve legislative goals that have saved millions in operating expenses; advanced the value of the electric cooperative network through coordinated communications programs; helped train employees to safely and successfully deliver electric power; offered professional development programs to strengthen board and employee competence; and provided help to members building community and economic development projects. This “cooperation among cooperatives” is one of our seven principles. By working together, we have the power to achieve what no one member can accomplish on its own. Through cooperation, we shine as one.
