HOT CRAB DIP APPETIZER

8 ozs. cream cheese
1 T. milk
7 ozs. crabmeat, drained
2 T. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. horseradish
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
Mix all ingredients and place in a pie plate or casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with French bread or snack crackers.
* Gretchen’s test notes: This fast and easy dip is a great appetizer for those special holiday potlucks. It could be put in a small crockpot for easy transport. This is a hit with everyone.

PINEAPPLE-CHEESE SALAD

1 (3-ounce) package lime Jell-O
1 cup hot water
1 cup canned evaporated milk (may use low-fat)
1 cup cottage cheese (may use low-fat)
1/2 cup mayonnaise (may use light)
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)
1 large can (20-ounce) crushed pineapple (drained)
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water. Add all other ingredients. Pour into large bowl and chill until set.
* Gretchen's test notes: Excellent taste and easy to prepare.
